We’re happy to announce that George Hofsink has joined our team as VP Sales and Marketing. George is a well-known and highly regarded figure in the North American financial services industry and will bring decades of experience to his new role with our company.
Focused on the rapid evolution of customer experience expectations brought on by fintech, George combines his comprehensive knowledge of the fintech service provider space with his extensive background in the financial services industry. He has led sales and account management teams in both Canada and the US and established key strategic relationships with leading community bank and credit union leaders, most recently in his role as Managing Director, Canada, for Fiserv (a Fortune 500 fintech operating in 80 countries).
As our VP Sales and Marketing, George will lead initiatives to identify and pursue value in existing markets for our onboarding software, a comprehensive platform streamlining personal retail, commercial and wealth management account opening as well as online lending for financial institutions. In addition, he will work closely with our team to further commercialize our robust product roadmap, leveraging his expertise in establishing new markets and leading complex change initiatives to accelerate growth for thirdstream.
George joining thirdstream comes at a time when our company is already experiencing unprecedented growth and making plans to launch our next generation onboarding platform, in parallel with the rollout of POS Lending as a Service by thirdstream.

Although our corporate headquarters are in Alberta, George will operate out of Vancouver, where he lives with his wife and two growing children. When not working, he is training, having finished his fourth marathon in as many years, averaging 300 KM monthly and closing in on his 50th lifetime running race.
