ID scan technology is here

thirdstream labs has been working hard to bring driver’s license scanning to cumulus™, taking yet another giant step towards making online account opening and member onboarding 100% virtual.

how does it work?

Driver’s license scanning allows members with smart phones to scan the barcode on the back of their driver’s license to collect pertinent personal information. This removes the need for the user to type in this information during the application process. With one click of a smart phone camera, our new ID scan technology will collect and automatically populate to the cumulus™ application:

  • first name
  • last name
  • date of birth
  • address
  • province
  • postal code

Our UX director Jeff Coomber has created a video of the prototype to give you a sneak peek of how it will work. Check It
